26.9. European Day of Languages 2018

September 26 is the day we celebrate the so-called European Day of Languages. This day we want to highlight the idea that learning a language is very important. We have also devoted to this topic in our schools. Together with the students we produced the "Language Wheels". Pupils have developed their ability to search for information on the internet and create very interesting products. Similarly, in some schools were organized meetings with people living in our countries as foreigners. At the elementary school in Babín, Slovakia, we met a lady from Poland who lived in Slovakia for more than 20 years. She was very interested to talk about her feelings when she came to Slovakia, how she had to learn our language and to learn about our culture and traditions.
