The school was founded in 1972. The social background of families is very different but we manage to work with all of them.  We think that each student is an individual. The parents' occupation ranges from a doctor, a teacher, a bank manager, clerk, accountant to farmers (from the nearest rural areas) and a lot of unemployed people. Our students are not only the Latvians but also the Russians, the Lithuanians, the Belorussian, the Ukrainians, Romani (Gypsies). It means our school is multicultural and multinational. Our school runs a special program for pupils with the learning difficulties. These days the number of the students of this kind is increasing. We also offer for students of senior grades STEM program.
